If you want me to join your group because you think that I, specifically, will make a good addition, than send me an e-mail. I don't like it when people spam me to join their community just because my journal came up on a random search. And if you have an application process . . . then, well, you can probably just forget it. Sorry. I'm not so enamored with LJ that I want to spend time filling out applications just to make a post when I can stick it in my own journal without the hassle.
